The 2025 F7X, U1X M35 Eventuri intake is a fully sealed system, which features our patented Venturi filter housing and has an increased volume over the OEM airbox. Being sealed, it maintains low intake air temperatures and avoids heat soak, which is crucial for maximising performance during high-demand driving conditions. At the heart of our design is the patented Venturi filter housing. This unique feature creates a direct flow path between the duct and the turbo inlet tube, effectively eliminating inefficiencies found in both OEM cuboid airboxes and conventional aftermarket intakes. Finally, the Eventuri intake system boasts an increased volume compared to the OEM airbox. This larger capacity allows for greater airflow, which translates into more power potential especially at higher states of tune where the flow demand is greater.

The Eventuri Difference

The F7X, U1X M35 Eventuri system uses our Patented Carbon fiber Housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag on the turbo. You can read more about the housing design and how it works HERE.

The Eventuri 2025 F7X, U1X M35 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:

Each intake system consists of:
  • Carbon Fibre Venturi Filter Housing with integrated sensor tube
  • Bespoke High Flow Dry Filter
  • Carbon Fibre inlet Duct
  • CNC Machined MAF Boss
  • Laser Cut Stainless Steel Bracket Work

FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLY

The filter housing comprises of our bespoke generation 2 filter, aluminium inlet cowl, stainless steel bracket and the integrated sensor section. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the sensor section which then connects to the custom flexible coupler. This changes the flow path from the OEM airbox where airflow enters the front of the airbox, changes direction by 90 degrees to travel through the panel filter and then changes direction again by 90 degrees to move towards the flexible hose. Our system is a lot more direct with airflow entering the front of the filter housing and and moving into the sensor section without any abrupt direction changes. The result is a smoother path from the filter to the turbo inlet tube and therefore the turbo is able to function with less drag.

PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

Our patented filter housing has a smooth reduction in cross sectional area as it shrouds the filter and tapers down to the tubing. This geometry invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack - below is a diagram to show the comparison between our patented design and a regular intake system. Our bespoke filters aid the airflow moving through the housings and allow for an even velocity profile as the airflow exits the housings. Further details can be read in the Technology and Filters pages.

CARBON INLET DUCT

The carbon duct draws cold air from the stock air feed behind the front bumper, but it has a smoother flow path to the filter in comparison to the OEM version. By utilising organic curvature, we have been able to smoothly shape the flow to the opening of the filter housing and in doing so the overall flow efficiency is much improved. The duct seals to the filter housing with an expandable rubber edging, which also allows for engine vibration. It mounts to the OEM locations with hidden hardware keeping a clean engine bay aesthetic.

CUSTOM FLEXIBLE COUPLER

The final component is our custom designed flexible coupler. This enables the filter housing to remain static and therefore sealed to the duct as the engine moves under load.
