The C8 Corvette Eventuri intake sets a new benchmark on this platform for the highest performing intake and the largest internal volume available*. With the intake size and shape restricted by the OEM trunk panel, we redesigned it to allow for a larger intake. In doing so we also made it from clear Polycarbonate to allow the carbon intake to be on display when the trunk is open. Utilizing our Patented Venturi Housing concept, airflow is able to negotiate through the filters with a much less tortuous path thus reducing the drag of the system. Furthermore by increasing the overall volume in the intake, the flow capacity has also been increased allowing higher powered builds to maximize on performance gains. Intake air temperatures have been minimized by ensuring a sealed system, taking advantage of the OEM air feeds as well as using carbon fiber which has a low thermal conductivity coefficient across the wall thickness. The resulting system provides industry leading performance gains and a noticeable improvement in throttle response.
The Eventuri Difference
The C8 Corvette Eventuri system uses our Patented Carbon fiber Housings which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the engine. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect. You can read more about the housing design and how it works HERE

Dyno Testing
Our C8 Intake has been independently tested by Corvette specialists, Paragon Performance in Iowa and also by tuning specialists MSL Performance in the UK. The tests were carried out on completely stock cars with the stock airbox and Eventuri intake tested back to back on the same day. Paragon Performance conducted the tests in their closed cell environment while data logging the temperatures and fuel trim values. A fully stock C8 was tested with engine temperatures at a stabilized value and then the car was left on the dyno while the intake was installed. After installation the car was allowed to reach the same temperatures and then the performance data was measured. This ensured that the tests were conducted in an unbiased way with variables equalized across the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake.
As can be seen, there is a measurable gain throughout the RPM range, not just at peak which is more important as the increased area under the graph demonstrates that the intake is making an impact beyond the headline figures. This gain even on a stock car is noticeable on the road with better throttle response and quicker acceleration.
CFD Analysis
A CFD flow analysis was conducted on the intake to optimise the shape for smooth flow and therefore reduced drag. The simulation below shows a sweeping cut plot of velocities through the intake. The streamlines demonstrate how the intake takes turbulent flow upstream of the filters and shapes the flow to be smooth and linear as it collects and moves through the MAF tube section to the throttle body. The velocity increases as it moves through the MAF tube yet remains laminar and uniform throughout the tube to the engine.

Part Numbers:
The Eventuri C8 Corvette intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:
Each intake system consists of:
PATENTED FILTER HOUSING
The C8 Filter Housing is designed with 2 or our patented Venturi pods which merge into one outlet. It comprises of 2 bespoke high flow filters, aluminium cowls, laser cut brackets and the carbon pod itself. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filters and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the throttle body. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack - below is a diagram to show the comparison between our patented design and a regular intake system. Further details can be read in the Technology page.
BESPOKE CONE FILTER
In order to achieve the highest flow rate possible we designed a filter element to make as much use of the space available in the engine bay as possible. This new filter has an outside diameter of 192mm or 7.6" and when flow tested with a housing using a 4" opening is able to flow up to 900 CFM at 28" H2O. The filter medium is ISO tested to ensure that filtration is in line with OEM standards and is also dry. The filter is constructed with our signature flow cones to aid in the Venturi housing principle.
CARBON DUCTS
The ducts channels ambient air from the side vents to the filter housing. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat - they are secured to the filter housing at 3 points and use a neoprene gasket for an airtight seal . The ducts were designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given geometry of the engine bay. This ensures that the filter housing is able to draw with minimum restriction.
CLEAR TRUNK PANEL
Designing an intake to have a large volume with smooth airflow to the engine was not possible with the limited space which was in part due to the stock trunk panel so we redesigned it to accommodate our intake. In doing so we took the opportunity to showcase the carbon fiber and so made the panel from clear polycarbonate. This allows for a window to see the intake when the trunk is opened - an industry first for this platform.
BRACKET WORK
We have designed a framework to allow the OEM wiring looms to be secured in place and kept out of view. The bracket work is laser cut from Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
INLET FLANGES
Our custom inlet flanges and flexible hoses connect the intake to the stock cold air feeds on each side. This ensures that engine bay heat is kept out of the intake system.
SILICON COUPLER
Our silicon coupler replaces the stock coupler to the throttle body. It matches the OEM throttle body and features internal steps which cover the wall thickness of both the throttle body and the carbon intake to ensure a seamless path into the plenum.
The complete system comes together to provide an intake which improves on the stock airbox in performance, aesthetics and sound.........
